| The Star Wars prequels. They were so offensive to fans of the original trilogy, it wasn't even funny. Everything was shot in blue screen, the acting was terrible, there are plot holes galore, and they turned the Force into a blood ailment (midichlorians) rather than an ancient religion. | |

| The Anakin/Padme love story was done terribly. The clones and droids were so disposable, that I never cared about any of the battle scenes. They gave Yoda a lightsaber in Episode II and made him bounce off of walls while fighting Count Dooku. Also, they shoehorned several original trilogy characters just for the sake of fanservice. C3PO, R2-D2, Boba Fett, etc. Oh, and apparently Darth Vader built C3PO in The Phantom Menace. | |

| I thought the Spider-Man films were decent, but they could've been much better. It was very apparent that they were made for kids.
Also, I'm not much of a Marvel fan to begin with, so I might be a little biased.

| Going back to Star Wars, I thought the prequels were cool. I wasn't around when the original Star Wars came out, it was so fresh and new at the time for people of that generation. Generation X right? I'm 21 going on 22 and I'm part of the Millenial's generation as much of are clan is a part of. It seems that we are still following what Generation X thinks is cool and what is lame. We are just now starting to gain our generations strength in what we think is cool in society and what's not. Sadly the original Star Wars fans already have a permanent affect on what we all think of the prequels. I noticed when I was younger that I disliked the prequels because everyone else seemed to say that they ruined the original trilogy (although when I first watched them, I really enjoyed them). I then later realized that I was following the previous generations belief on what was cool. This was on many things. It becomes embedded in the mind so much for so long that people will actually believe it. The best example of this is music. I have great respect for music that came out before the 90's even though that's not my generations music. Yet it seems that MY generation dislikes its own music, why is that? Years from now, music from the 2000's-2014 will be classics. Just wait and see. It's already happening by the way ;D I will say I did dislike certain aspects of the prequels, such as the incredibly disposable droids like Jerimiah said (Although I think George wanted to add that for the younger generations humor, the droids were quite silly and I would have preferred some durability). One of the most badass moments I had ever saw was when Yoda dropped his cane and picked up the saber. Little dude was not to be messed with. The original trilogy showed a wise but silly Yoda and the prequels showed a wise and SERIOUS Yoda which I had more respect towards. All I'm saying here is that I use to dislike the prequels due to a majority's opinion on it and not truly my own. I have come of age (several years ago) were I learned to cast out the standards opinions and believe what I like/love. I like the Star Wars prequels

| The only prequel I liked was Attack Of The Clones due to Clone Army and Jango Fett but Episode 3 had General Grevious in it so I like that is well.
One series I will love no matter what is Godzilla Series ( btw Godzilla 2014 best film this year)

| I loved the grand battles in Clone Wars and you can't hate General Grievous! A droid taught in the Jedi arts!? Episode 1 did lack in some places like the others even though the pod races were awesome. Everyone hates Jar Jar Binks and I don't truly know why, but I do know that I don't understand Jar Jar that much either lol. I tried to! Just a silly alien fella. | |

| That's cool how you enjoy the prequels, but I just can't get into them. There are definitely some good things in those movies, but I feel the bad things far outweigh the good. You should watch the RedLetterMedia reviews of Episodes I-III on YouTube. It explains in heavy detail most of the problems people have with those films.
As for General Grievous, I felt he was a cool character when he was first introduced in the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon series back in 2003. I also think they should've left him in the cartoon series and kept him out of Episode III. He feels much more like a cartoon character (in a good way) than a live-action film antagonist.

| I read part one of the Phantom Menace review and I was done! Lol
The review is on a humor basis which gives the review more strength sadly. Although he had great points in some of the flaws, the same type of review can be down with any movie... ever. Inception, Training Day, Lord of the Rings, Pulp Fiction etc. All those great movies can be reviewed in such a way that makes them seem bad, but we know that they're good.

| That's not what he aims for though. RedLetterMedia is a pretty respected movie critic online, even though he presents everything in a comedic fashion. Check out some of his reviews for movies he actually enjoys. There's a much different tone. | |
